Srianusha Thotakura (she/her)
Research Fellow (2021-2022)
Anusha worked as a Research Associate at CJLS. She has also previously worked as a Research Fellow and Assistant with CJLS, during which she worked on reproductive rights, gender and sexuality, disability and healthcare.
She graduated in 2021 with a BA LL.B. (Hons.) degree from O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU). During her time at JGU, she co-founded a society for disability inclusion, actively worked in the Disability rights clinic and served as the student representative of the Disability Support Committee. She received the Dean’s awards for Outstanding Leadership and Outstanding Contribution to Social Service/ Community Engagement.
Anusha recently earned her LL.M degree from University of California, Berkeley. She received Irving Tragen Law School Fellowship, 2022-2023; and Logan Scholarship, 2022-2023. She also worked as a Program Assistant, at the Center for Intercultural Leadership and Programs. Her research interest lies in human rights, labour rights, disability rights, gender-related issues, global health and human psychology.
